my current skincare routine!

I have never had a set skincare routine, my skincare use to only consists of me taking my make-up off at night and that was it. I have been sticking to a skincare routine recently which is basic and takes a maximum of 5 minutes!



1) boot cleansing wipes

first I remove all my make up with boots cleaning wipes which smell like cucumber and these are the only wipes I have used which don't make my skin sting. 

2) simple micellar cleansing water 

second I use the simple micellar cleansing water. I wet a cotton pad with the cleaning water and apply it all over my face, this feel really refreshing, I do this in the morning and at night 

3) simple vital vitamin day cream 

Thirdly I use the simple vital vitamin moisturiser.This is the day cream which I use in the morning and apply after the micellar water. I have noticed a big difference in my skin since I started using this cream, it has made my skin softer and brighter and gives my skin a healthier look. I apply this under make-up in the morning. 

if I have an outbreak of spots I apply small amount of Germolene to the spots and they disappear with in 2 days.

what is in my make-up bag?

Everyday Make-up.

I  keep my everyday make-up in a Zoella beauty make-up bag. I really love this cosmetic bag not only because it is by Zoella but because it is the perfect size, it isn't too big or too small and is the perfect size for everyday.

I purchases this Zoella beauty cosmetic bag from super-drug for £8 and I find this size of make-up perfect to store my everyday make-up for my easy access every morning. 

Face Make-up 

Benefit hello flawless foundation £26, This is my favourite foundation I have tried so far. it applies easily and has a flawless finish with a moisturiser in it to keep your skin hydrated during the day.

Rimmel wake me up concealer £5.50. I'm pretty sure every beauty bloggerr/youtuber rave about this concealer, but it is a great drug store concealer which works just as well as any high end concealer.   

Rimmel stay matte powder £3.99.  This powder works amazing just like the concealer, it works as well as some high end powders and sets your make up and doesn't leave a to matte finish 

M.A.C blusher- shade frost £20. this is my all time favourite blush, it goes really well with my skin tone and is the perfect everyday shade, it isn't to vibrate and is noticeable but suttle at at same time. 

Brows

benefit gimme brow £18. this is a brow gel, which had an applicator like a mascara wand. this is a new purchase for me but I love how easy it is to apply.  

MUA pro brow unlimited eyebrow kit £3.99. I seen this make of make up in super-dug that I have never heard of so I thought why not give it a try, and I must say how much I love it and first I thought it might not be so good as its not very expensive but I was so surprised at how well it works.

Eyes

Urban decay eye shadow primer £18.  I love this primer and it defiantly makes my eye shadow stay on all day and keeps it vibrate all day long. 

M.A.C quad pallet £45. I love this pallet as you can create a whole make up look from this one pallet, you have a highlighter, base shade, inner shade and an outer shade. 

Urban decay naked 3 pallet £38. This is my favourite naked pallet as it has nude shades which are perfect for everyday. 

Depending on what eye shadow look i want that day i either use my naked 3 pallet or my M.A.C pallet or sometimes i use both pallets, 

Benefit roller lash mascara £19.50. I have recently written a review on this mascara but its perfect for lengthening and volumeizes your lashes

victoria's secret

Victoria's Secret PINK Haul 

There is not a Victoria's secret near where i live so when i was near Leeds there was no way i could resit taking a trip into Leeds to the Trinity Centre and visit Victoria's secret. This was my second time in PINK, i went last summer when i was in Orlando Florida.

when i seen this tank top i just knew that i had to have it, who doesn't love a bit of sparkle? i think this tank top would be perfect for going to the gym or even as a casual top with jeans or denim shorts.

i love love love PINK yoga pants they are super comfy and are perfect for everyday and going to the gym and i love the neon pink roll over waist band.

i picked up 2 body mists and there was a deal 2 for £18. i got the 'sweet&flirty' scent which is sugar berry and pink grapefruit. i also picked up the 'warm&cosy' scent which is toasted vanilla and peony.

VS cosmetic bag £12.50
iphone 6 case £13.50

i really was looking for a new phone case and when i saw this one i just had to get it. it was my favourite colour (turquoise blue) this case is worth the price i was very impressed with the way it fitted on my phone. it fits really tight which protects the sides and back from scratches. 

PINK sweatshirt
£44.50

This sweatshirt is probably the most comfy soft jumper ever. i love that it is basic on the front but then the back has more detail. I love this jumper for just throwing on for going to the gym or on a cold winters lazy day!

benefit roller lash mascara

 

Roller Lash Mascara Review

usually I am one of those people who like to try various mascaras when my current mascara runs out but the benefit roller lash has to be the best one I've tried so far, I even went out and repurchased it the other day there as I loved it so much!

I have very short lashes and i really wanted to find a mascara that would give me amazing length and curl my lashes, i had heard lots of people raven about benefit roller lash so i decided it was time i got my hands on one!

I bought it back in march and it lasted me about 5 months before i had to repurchase it. in the UK roller lash costs £19.50 which i think is a good price for an amazing mascara. 

the colour theme on this product is black and pink, the mascara tube is black with curly pink wording, the pink wording really stands out on the black. The brush handle feels rubbery, the handle is pink with diamond shape in dents. 

this is an example of the benefit roller lash mascara on my eyelashes, i feel this mascara really curls and volumizes my lashes giving them more definition and making them actually look like eyelashes. 

i have also tried the benefit there real mascara but i feel the roller lash really works well with my lashes. I did like using 'there real' but i must admit i really prefer the roller lash mascara!

Getting ready for summer ☀️😎

Hey guys I have not blogged in a while as I have been super busy with my holiday to Tenerife and rehearsals for my dance show. But I'm a back giving you a few ideas for a care free summer.

My first summer essential is....
is a really good pair of sunglasses that work well with every outfit because they always complete a summery outfit and of course protect your eyes from the sun.the sunglasses that I loving right now are the polarised rose gold aviator ray bans because they are super stylish and go with every outfit.

Another summer essential would be...
A cute playsuit because they are so easy to throw on for the beach, pool, festival or even a summers outing. I'm a huge lover of play suits they are my go to outfit when I'm on holiday especially when I went to Disney land! 

My next summer essential is.... 

BB cream, No girl wants to wear a face full of make up during the day, I have been loving the maybaline BB cream as it is a great moisturiser and has a good coverage and it also has spf 15 so it will protect your skin while providing a light coverage. 

Another one of my summer must haves is.... 

White Jean, they are perfect for the chiller summer days and when you live in the uk you get a lot of them! White jeans are also perfect for an evening out paired with ballet pumps or cute sandals. My favourite white jeans are the topshop high waisted Joni jeans. 

Another summer essential is...... 

White converse, I love love love my white converse they have been one of my summer must haves since like 2010! They are so comfy and go with jeans, denim shorts, skater skirts and play suits. 

My next summer must have is.... 

A summer scent, every girl must have that one perfume that they spray and then it reminds them of summer, mine are are bath and body works- mad about you and drifted away perfume wise I have been loving the juicy couture viva la juicy which smells amazing!  

Another one of my summer essential is...

A summer playlist, music is a big part of the summer it sometimes is difficult find that perfect playlist but I would recommend using spotify as they have many playlist to chose from and everyone would be able to find their perfect summer playlist.

Pointless blog 2 book signing

Alfie Deyes aka pointlessblog released his 2nd book on the 27th of March 2015,the pointless book 2 is full of activities, doodles and games, ideal for travelling or just when you are bored. The pointless book 2 comes with an exclusive app which works along side the book which allows you to see Alfie's drawings, answers and exclusive videos. 

I wasn't able to meet Alfie when he done his book tour for his first book as he didn't come to Scotland, but fortunately I was able to meet Alfie on his book tour for book 2 in Glasgow on the 8th of April.

                           the Pointlessbook app makes videos 3D and pop out the book.

The app also allows you to create your own things such as a tennis ball for Nala and it becomes 3D.

we travelled through to Glasgow around 1 and arrived around half 2, the rules were that you were not allowed to queue before 2;30. when we reached the queue there was already roughly 100 people there! 45 minutes into our wait we got our tickets scanned and received our wristbands and a copy of the pointless book 2. we then waited about another hour and a half to two hours and we finally got into the signing room. It was so surreal to see my internet hero sitting only meters away. The security were getting annoyed as parents were taking pictures of their children with Alfie, which Alfie was posing for which was amazing! The security were telling us that if we didn't stop posing for pictures then we would have to shut down our cameras before meeting Alfie.

when we finally got to the front of the queue and we were next it felt like a dream to be meeting Alfie. when i got up to the table i gave Alfie his present which was a toy for Nala. Alfie said hi and asked how i was and he told me that all his presents were getting sent back to his house, Then Alfie said thanks for coming and i said omg thank you so much.

A week later and i still cant believe that i meet Alfie, it was one of the most amazing days of my life, in the future i hope to meet Alfie again and all the other British youtubers.

one of my favourite sections is make up essentials. In this  chapter Tanya tells us how to apply make-up her favourite brushes and what the brushes are used for. In this section Tanya tells us which outfits chooses work for which type of figure/body type. Tanya also shares with us how to accessorise, how to organise your wardrobe, whats in her bag and her fashion tips.
